The Dark Night: What Happened?
12 Dec 2025. A brutal attack in the heart of the capital. Sharif Osman Hadi, a voice against injustice, was shot in broad daylight. It was not a random crime, but a calculated political assassination.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. After fighting for his life for 6 days, on 18 Dec 2025 he embraced martyrdom.
The oppressors thought killing him would kill his ideology. Instead, his death sparked a nationwide fire of resistance.

Investigation Report & Delay
Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) submitted their initial report. However, names of main planners are missing. Family has filed a naraji (objection).
Case Filed
A murder case was filed by the family against unidentified assailants at Shahbagh Police Station. Case No: 42/2025.
Martyrdom
Defying all medical efforts, he left us for the eternal abode. A shadow of grief and anger descended upon the nation.

He was shot publicly on the streets of Dhaka. Eyewitnesses claim the attackers were trained and professional.

Fast Track Tribunal
The Hadi murder case must be transferred to a Fast Track Tribunal for speedy justice.

If necessary, an impartial investigation under international supervision must be conducted.

Safety of Hadi's family and fellow activists must be guaranteed by the state.
